"I am here to support vulnerable people"
Hi, this is Jaime. My involvement with social justice goes back to my teenage days, originally from Peru and moved to the UK in 2003, I have been trained as Welfare Benefits Adviser in 2009 by Advice UK and along the years decided to specialise giving debt advice, support and advocacy, I love challenging creditors who don’t follow “best practice” and put people under stress and anxiety.
I am happy to have joined Money A+E because I share the vision of transforming lives with a better understanding of money through advice and education. Unfortunately currently we live in an economic society, money is the core of society, managing it wisely lead us to a better life.
I have experienced myself the struggle of being with debts, arrears, and ending living on the streets as new migrants are more prompt to go through. I wish I did know of the existence of Debt Advice and Money management, and I don’t want others walking the same path
And, here I am giving all my heart, knowledge, experience and skills to support BAME & disadvantaged communities, supporting the vulnerable… You all are welcome.
